The New Trend in Vintage Weddings!

Lately all our brides have gone gaga over wanting a vintage themed wedding. They seem to choose very similar color schemes of muted colored flowers, gold & brassy accents with hints of champagne and ivory. Oh, and blush pink! We can't forget the blush pink. This color palette serves as a more timeless chic look, and we at Exquisite Productions can't seem to get enough of it!

Douglas Entrance Spring Wedding

Love is in the air this Spring! Brittney and Randall choose to bind their love at the Douglas Entrance in Coral Gables. The day was blessed with a wonderful rain shower (it's good luck to have rain on your wedding day!) and the ceremony had to be relocated to the venue's Arch Room next to the ballroom. That's one of the great things about Douglas Entrance - it has a back up plan and it looks like a little church! After their 'I dos' guests entered the ballroom lavished in turquoise, lime green and white, swirling in the delicious scent of sweet plantain mash, pepper steak and yellow saffron rice. Guests enjoyed dancing with festive masks to beats of island music, as the couple celebrated their beautiful day. Congrats!!

The Spanish Monastery Spring Wedding

As a new member of Exquisite Productions, these were the very first clients I met with on my own so this wedding was especially personal for me. This was a day wedding that took place at the Ancient Spanish Monastery with a ceremony in the Loggia, followed by the reception in the Cloister. Faith and Rabson's colors were coral, orange and gold which kicked off Spring with such a POP. Even the dinner plate was vibrant in color! Congrats and we hope many years of marriage to them both!

Reception Ideas

Most brides are so certain of their centerpieces, their linens, their food. But we are always being asked about unique ideas to decorate the gift, sign in and place card table. These tables are usually forgotten, until recently! Here are just a few ideas trending now for weddings.

One of our brides collected pictures of both family member's wedding day and engagement photos and displayed them on her registration table. It was a personal touch and a great way to entertained guests.

Everyone is going vintage lately! Our bride decorated her registration table to match the theme of her venue, The Old Davie School House. A note in the typewriter informed guests to sign the globe and a suite case with a C-A-R-D-S bunting collected guests monetary gifts.

Thalatta Estate

We have had a longer than usual Miami winter and we at Exquisite Productions are not complaining at all! Wedding preparations have been a pleasure to do in the cool air; especially the set up we put together for Stephanie and Alex's big day at Thalatta Estate on March 2, 2013. It was such a cold night and the lovely couple danced the night away to keep warm. The rustic chic theme blended effortlessly with the scenic venue of Thalatta and guests could not stay seated with the 80's and 90's music spun by our very wonderful DJ Jose Salcedo, out from the woodworks for this very special event!
